Hey! I’m Berk. Welcome to my portfolio.

I’m currently a Data Science student at Boston University, with a strong interest in backend systems, cloud infrastructure, and developer-focused tools. I started out building projects through school and personal curiosity, experimenting with everything from game development to embedded systems. Over time, I found myself increasingly drawn to systems that operate behind the scenes — infrastructure, monitoring, and scalable services.

Recently, I’ve been focusing on cloud and backend development. I’ve built tools like a cloud infrastructure monitor using AWS (boto3) and a log analyzer that parses server activity to detect errors and usage patterns. These projects helped me understand how real systems are observed, debugged, and maintained.

In 2026, my goal is to continue moving toward cloud-native and DevOps-oriented work. I’ve been learning more about system design, APIs, and infrastructure tooling, while strengthening my skills in Python and distributed systems. This site acts as a collection of my projects and a reflection of what I’m currently learning.
